My name is Sarah Lane and I am an independent Celebrant based in the East Midlands.

At a time of loss, planning a funeral can be overwhelming and stressful.  I always liaise closely with families to create the perfect space to say goodbye to a loved one and capture the key elements of their life and create a meaningful, appropriate, and personal service.

I write and deliver a unique and individual script that reflects the memories, meaningful words and heartfelt thoughts of the life that has been lost. The ceremony will be individually crafted focusing on the wishes of the family, offering personalised and compassionate service that reflect your needs and preferences. I want families and friends to feel the ceremony has been a positive one and I hope they look back on it and say, ‘that was a true reflection of the person we knew and loved’.

Hi, my name is Catrina and I am an independent

‘Heart-led’ celebrant, which means I have been trained to

the highest possible standard in order to serve families in

their time of need. Every ceremony I create is unique -

personalised to the individual and reflecting their and

their family's wishes. I am equally comfortable including

religious elements in a ceremony as I am leading an

entirely secular service.

I consider it an absolute honour to serve families; to get to

know a person, even without meeting them, is an

As a celebrant I can offer a truly unique ceremony of farewell reflecting your love one’s life through stories, memories and their experiences.

Each service is personalised delivering the needs and wishes of the family. A service allows a safe space to come together to mourn, to grieve and of course to remember. However, it can also be a celebration of life including music, poems, tributes, readings and heart felt uplifting words.
